​Saint Louis Elite Student Athlete & Parent Pledge - 

As a Saint Louis Elite Student Athlete, I will...

• Represent Saint Louis Elite in a positive manner 
• Practice and play to the best of my ability
• Give coaches advance notice if I am going to miss a practice or game 
• Attend as many practices as possible and arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of practice  
• Attend all games and arrive at least 20 minutes prior to the start of each game 
• Arrive prepared for all games and training sessions, (i.e. proper mental attitude and equipment)
• Treat others, including opponents and referees, as I would want to be treated. 
• Only give positive encouragement to fellow teammates
• Practice basketball skills and condition on my own 
• Report any injury to the coaching staff
• Approach your head coach personally with any sports-related problem 
• Adhere to the laws of the game 
• Take victory modestly and defeat graciously

As a Saint Louis Elite Student Athlete, I will not... 

• Use profane or vulgar language
• Use a controlled substance unless prescribed by a physician
• Leave the field or a practice without the permission of the coach
• Disregard any instructions of my coach/trainer
• Forget that I represent Saint Louis Elite

​As a Saint Louis Elite Parent, I will...

• Treat all coaching staff with courtesy and respect
• Not participate in sideline coaching or yelling (complaining) to the referees during the games
• Assure that my student athlete will attend all scheduled events
• Support my student athlete's efforts to succeed
• Promote and model mature, sportsmanlike behavior at all sporting events​
• Promote a solid sense of team membership among my student athlete, the coaching staff, and myself
